Nosotros

Restless with life in the Guatemalan highlands, Romero leaves his wife and son to work as a security guard in the city. There he meets Nubia, an entrepreneur, and the two find refuge in laughter, desire, and companionship. When their relationship ends in tragedy, Nubia must return her lover’s body from the city’s hidden margins to the mountains he left behind.

Moving between rural community and urban precarity, Nosotros maps migration, masculinity, queer intimacy, and the difficult passage from love to mourning.
