Memoria

While visiting Colombia, Jessica is haunted by an inexplicable sound that no one else seems able to hear. Her search for its source gradually dissolves the boundaries between dream and reality, archaeology and memory, the living and the dead. Filmed entirely in Colombia, Memoria transforms the country’s mountains and forests into reservoirs of collective remembrance, suggesting that landscapes carry histories far older than nations.
